Empowering Christian Women (ECW) was founded in 1992 in Summit,
New Jersey by LeQuita Porter, then a member of the Fountain Baptist
Church. It then expanded to Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Jamaica, and
now Florida! This "support ministry" began as a part of LeQuita's own
healing process, starting with quarterly workshops and then because of
it's success, it grew into a weekly women's support group. Many women
and men have been blessed, delivered and healed through this ministry
that God has ordained "for such a time as this!"
The work of ECW has touched lives all over and will continue to provide
the spiritual support and nurturance that every woman should have!
. . .for when I am weak. . .then am I strong!

you. You see, I have been at this long enough to know that because you are here at this website,
and since God has allowed our paths to cross, then I really do already "know" you in the Spirit. I
